12:09 - A Winter Night

Pandora's Diaries | Poem

it’s 12:09,

the wind blow by,

my eyes alight,

the view, my view,

is worth it,

the silence is deafening,

the water can be heard,

dropping, sinking, plummeting,

on the cold hard floor,

pushing the pale brown door,

I imagine,

my body filled with tattoos,

my hair tied up in a bun,

the warm I await from the sun,

it's now 12:10,

a winter night,

and I feel almost zen.
